About Roy

The operator behind the advice.

Three decades of boardroom decisions. Two companies built from zero. A perspective that only comes from living both sides.

Roy Weathers spent 33 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers, ultimately serving as Vice Chair and US Tax Leader—a member of the US Leadership Team that steered one of the world’s most consequential professional services firms. During his tenure, PwC authored the Harvard Business Review cover story “Reinventing Your Leadership Team” (January–February 2022), a definitive examination of how top teams must evolve to meet the complexity of modern enterprise.

He didn’t stop at one career. Roy founded ANOVA Sports and StudioGen, a creative agency built at the intersection of strategy and execution. As an investor, he has helped hundreds of companies grow—bringing the same rigor that defined his PwC career to founders and leadership teams navigating scale, uncertainty, and reinvention.

Named to the Washington Business Journal Power 100, Roy serves on the boards of Madison Square Boys & Girls Club, Carnegie Hall, and The Pinkerton Foundation. He brings the perspective of someone who has operated at the highest levels—and chosen to build from scratch.

04
